What to expect
If you have spent the week on a surfboard, a sandboard is a strange and funny cousin of it. The Timlalin dunes are only a short drive north of Taghazout, so this is an easy half day out of the village.
The trip stops first at Aghroud, where the houses overlooking the water are painted in bright blocks and covered in murals. From there the guide takes the group through one of the limestone canyons before carrying on to the sand.
On the dunes you get a board, a quick lesson and as many runs as you can fit in. Nobody needs prior experience. This is the version built around the riding itself, with pickup from Taghazout, Tamraght and Agadir included.

How your session runs
16:00 — Pickup in the village
We collect you from your guesthouse, surf camp or hotel in Taghazout, Tamraght or Agadir.
17:00 — Aghroud painted houses
A look at the houses above the water, walls painted in colour and covered with local murals.
17:20 — The canyon walk
On foot with the guide through the limestone gorge and its dry riverbed.
17:45 — Arriving at the dunes
The sand appears ahead, running from the road right down to the ocean.
18:15 — Time on the boards
Boards handed out, a short lesson, then runs down the slope toward the water.
19:45 — The golden hour
The sun starts to drop behind the cliffs and the sand turns the colour of honey.
20:00 — Heading back
The drive south along the coast road, past the surf beaches.
21:00 — Back at your accommodation
We drop you at your guesthouse, surf camp or hotel in Taghazout, Tamraght or Agadir.

None at all. The guide shows you the technique on a smaller slope and you work up from there. Most people get the hang of it quickly.
Is the sandboard provided?
Yes, boards and instruction are part of the trip. Bring your own board if you have one, but there is no need.

The route and the dunes are the same. The sand dunes tour is the full sunset outing. This one is built around the boarding itself.
