What to expect
Taghazout is a small place and the buggy base is not far from it, so you are on the dirt within a few minutes of leaving your guesthouse.
Buggy driving is more physical than it looks. You feel every rut through the wheel, and the tracks inland from the coast road are rough enough to keep it interesting. No prior off-road experience is needed, but the person driving does need a valid licence. Passengers are fine without one.
The convoy follows a guide across argan forest, dry riverbeds and open sand for around 1.5 hours. Partway round, everyone stops for mint tea and Moroccan snacks. Three hours covers the whole outing, transfers included.

14:30 — Off the tarmac
Engines started, and the convoy heads inland through argan forest, dry riverbeds and sand.
15:45 — The final loop
The last section takes the rougher tracks back toward the base, with a few wide views on the way.
16:15 — Tea and sweets
Mint tea and traditional snacks, taken at a slow pace before the final run in.
16:30 — Transfer home
Gear handed back, then the drive down the coast road to your accommodation.
