The experience
What to expect
Taghazout is a small village, so this works as an evening out rather than a full day. We collect you from your riad or hotel, take the coast road south, and have you at the ranch near Agadir inside half an hour.
The ride is the same loop as always: an hour through eucalyptus forest out to the banks of the Souss River, where flamingos and other migratory birds gather. On the sunset departure the handler stops at a viewpoint as the light drops, and takes the photographs for you.
Afterwards there is mint tea and snacks at the ranch, then the drive back north. You are in Taghazout before dinner service, which is the reason people book this from the village rather than from a city hotel.

Hotel pick-up (18:00)
We collect you from your hotel and drive to the ranch on the edge of Agadir.
At the ranch (18:20)
Meet your camel, get a short briefing and settle into the saddle.
Into the forest (18:30)
The ride sets off through the eucalyptus trees, with the smell of the leaves in the air.
The Souss River (19:00)
Out at the water, a protected area where pink flamingos and other migratory birds are often seen.
Sunset stop (19:10)
A pause at a viewpoint as the sun goes down, and time for photographs.
Back to the ranch (19:30)
The return leg through the trees as the light fades.
Mint tea and snacks (19:45)
Tea and Moroccan snacks at the ranch, with time to sit before the transfer.
