About this trip
Taroudant sits behind seven kilometres of red earth ramparts, has two souks known for silver and leather, and sees a fraction of the visitors Marrakech does. We walk part of the wall, give you time in the souks, then drive on to Tiout for lunch at a kasbah above the palm grove.
This is the longest shore excursion we run from Agadir, so it suits a full day in port rather than a half. Departure is set from your ship's arrival time and the return is built around your all-aboard call.

How the day runs
08:30 – Meet at the port
Your guide meets you at the Agadir cruise terminal with a sign and you leave straight away.
10:45 – Taroudant ramparts
A walk along the red earth wall and through the gates into the town.
11:30 – The souks
Around an hour in the two markets for silver, leather and carpets.
13:30 – Lunch at Tiout
Tajine and couscous at a kasbah looking down over the palm grove.
16:30 – Back at the ship
We plan the drive back so you are at the terminal an hour before all-aboard.
