The experience
About this trip
Agadir was rebuilt from the ground up after the 1960 earthquake, and half a day ashore is enough to see what replaced it. We meet you at the cruise terminal and drive to the Kasbah on the hill for the view over the bay, then on to the marina, the Mohammed V Mosque and an argan oil cooperative. The last stop is Souk El Had, one of the biggest markets in Africa, where you get about an hour to walk the aisles and bargain.
It is the easiest excursion to fit around a short port call. Give us your all-aboard time and we set the schedule backwards from it.

How the day runs
09:30 – Meet at the port
Your guide meets you at the Agadir cruise terminal and you set off straight away.
09:45 – Agadir Marina
Along the waterfront past the boats and the yacht club.
10:15 – Kasbah viewpoint
Up to Agadir Oufella for the view down over the rooftops, the beach and the bay.
11:00 – Mosque and argan
Photos at the Mohammed V Mosque, then the cooperative to see the oil pressed.
11:30 – Souk El Had
About an hour on your own inside the market, shopping and haggling.
12:45 – Back at the ship
We drive you back to the terminal with time in hand.

- Souk El Had closes on Mondays, so Monday calls run a different order of stops.
- Non-Muslims cannot go inside the Mohammed V Mosque; the stop is outside, for photos.
