The experience
What to expect
This is a short outing, around two hours door to door with an hour of it in the saddle. The ranch sits near the King's Palace on the edge of Agadir, and the route loops out through eucalyptus forest to the Souss River, a protected stretch of water where flamingos and other migratory birds gather.
Camels walk at their own pace, so there is nothing to learn and nothing to hold on for. A handler walks with the group the whole way, and the sunset departures stop at a viewpoint as the light goes down behind the dunes, which is the slot most people ask for.
Back at the ranch there is mint tea and Moroccan snacks, and time to sit down before the transfer. We collect and return you from Agadir, Taghazout or Tamraght.
