About this trip
The cable car is the easy way up Agadir Oufella. The base station sits in the city, the ride takes around six minutes, and it lifts you 236 metres to the top of the hill in one go. From the cabin you look out over the marina, the fishing port, the long crescent of beach and, on a clear day, the Atlas Mountains far inland.
At the summit you step out next to the ruins of the old Kasbah, a fort that goes back to the 16th century. The site is open air and uneven underfoot, but you can walk a good part of it in the hour you get before the ride back down. Evening slots are the ones photographers ask for, when the city starts to light up below.
Your ticket covers the uphill and downhill journeys both, so there is nothing extra to pay at the gate. Hotel pickup and drop-off from Agadir, Taghazout and Tamraght are included as well.

10:00 – Pickup from your hotel
We collect you in Agadir or Taghazout and drive over to the base station.
10:20 – At the base station
You arrive at the Agadir cable car station and pick up your tickets, already paid for.
10:40 – The ride up
Six minutes in the air, climbing 236 metres, with the marina and the Atlantic dropping away below you.
10:50 – Agadir Oufella
You step out at the summit beside the Kasbah ruins, the oldest surviving corner of the city.
11:15 – Photos from the top
The ten-kilometre sweep of beach on one side, the Atlas on the other. This is the shot everyone wants.
11:30 – The ride down
Back in the cabin for the descent, with the harbour and the light changing as you drop.
11:40 – Return transfer
Your driver is waiting at the base station to take you back.
12:00 – Drop-off
You are back at your hotel in Agadir or Taghazout.
