Most people who land in Agadir see the beach, the promenade and their hotel pool, and very little else. This Agadir city tour fills in the rest. We pick you up in the morning and drive you through the parts of town that locals actually use, with a guide who grew up here and will tell you which stalls to trust and which to walk past.
The Kasbah sits on the hill above the bay and gives you the whole city in one look, which is worth the ten minutes it takes to get up there. After that comes the marina, the Mohammed V Mosque, and a stop at an argan oil cooperative where the nuts are still cracked by hand. Then the bulk of the trip: around 90 minutes inside Souk El Had, one of the biggest markets in Africa, where you can buy spices, leather and argan products and where haggling is expected rather than rude.
Pick-up and drop-off come with the price of the tour and cover hotels in Agadir, Taghazout and Tamraght, so you can leave the driving to us. It suits a first or second morning in town, and it finishes early enough that you still have the afternoon free.

11:30 – Souk El Had
As much as an hour and a half to walk the aisles, pick up spices or leather, and try your hand at bargaining.

- The Kasbah is a viewpoint on a hill. You look out from the outside and there is nothing to go into.
- Souk El Had shuts on Mondays, so Monday trips run a slightly different route.
- You see the Mohammed V Mosque from the outside only. Non-Muslims are not allowed in.
- Expect a fair bit of walking at the souk, so leave the heels at the hotel.

Spices, argan oil and cosmetics, leather bags and belts, ceramics and the usual souvenirs. Around 90 minutes is enough to see a good part of it. Bargaining is normal, so start low.
Is Souk El Had open every day?
No, it closes on Mondays. Book a Monday trip and we change the order of the stops to work around it.
Is the Agadir city tour good for kids?
Yes. It is mostly sitting in the minivan with short walks in between, which suits families with young children.
