About this trip
The valley sits inland of Agadir and Taghazout sits north of the city, so we collect you around half past eight and you are back later than the Agadir guests. The walk does not change.
You go down through the palm gorge on foot with a guide. Spring water runs in the bed of the valley for most of the year, which is what keeps the palms there and what has cut the pools into the rock. They stay cold even when the coast is hot.
There is a village stop for mint tea, time to swim where the pools allow, and then the climb back out to the vehicle. Wear shoes with grip you do not mind getting wet.
