About this trip
Taghazout is about twenty minutes north of Agadir, and Marrakech is three hours inland from Agadir, so this is the longest transfer we run. We pick up in the village ahead of the city hotels and you are back later in the evening. If you are in Taghazout for the surf, keep the next morning loose.
The day itself works the same way. A coffee stop in the lower Atlas breaks the drive, and a licensed guide meets the group in Marrakech for the walk through the medina. You see the Koutoubia from outside, spend time in the square at Jemaa el-Fnaa, and follow the guide into the souks, where the lanes get narrow and the workshops sell leather, spice and brass.
The guided section finishes early in the afternoon and leaves you free until the meet-up. Eat, shop, or pay the small entry to the Bahia Palace for the tiles and gardens. The drive home is quiet, and we drop you back in the village rather than leaving you to find your own way from Agadir.

We collect you from your hotel in Agadir, Taghazout or Tamraght and turn inland.

11:20 Into Marrakech
You arrive in the Red City and meet the licensed guide who will lead the walk.
11:30 Koutoubia Mosque
A look at the 12th-century minaret from outside, the tallest thing in the city.
12:15 Jemaa el-Fnaa
Into the main square, where the musicians, storytellers and juice carts work the crowd.
13:00 The medina and souks
On foot through the artisan quarters and the spice stalls, with the guide explaining what you are looking at.
14:00 Bahia Palace, optional
Tiles and gardens in a 19th-century palace. Entry is about 100 MAD and paid at the door.
14:15 Lunch and free time
The guided part is over. Eat where you like and spend the afternoon as you want.
17:00 Back to the coach
The group meets at the agreed point and settles in for the drive to the coast.
21:00 Drop-off
Back at your hotel in Agadir or Taghazout.

Around 06:50 from Taghazout hotels and surf camps, so we can join the coast road ahead of the Agadir pickups.
