About this trip
Taghazout is north of Agadir and the road to Essaouira runs south, so we collect you at seven and the first hour is spent doubling back. From there the two days are the same.
Day one is Essaouira: a white and blue medina inside its sea wall, a working port, and an afternoon to walk it. Then the drive inland to Marrakech for the night.
Day two covers the Koutoubia minaret, the Menara gardens, the Bahia palace and Jemaa el-Fnaa, where the storytellers and acrobats work the square. The souks come last, then the road back up to the village. Breakfast and the hotel night are included.
