About this trip
Taghazout is closer to the argan forest than Agadir is, which means the goats come first and the driving stays short. You leave the village after an early pickup and are standing under the trees within half an hour.
The herds climb into the branches for the argan fruit, and the guide explains how the nuts are pressed into oil. Newborn goats are kept near the road and you can spend a few minutes with them. Breakfast comes next, with bread, amlou and mint tea, before the drive on to Crocoparc.
At the park the tickets are already paid. More than three hundred Nile crocodiles sit in planted enclosures below the walkways, with five gardens and a nursery behind them. We bring you back to Taghazout or Tamraght by early afternoon, in time for the surf.
