About this trip
Taghazout is a small village built around one bay, and Crocoparc makes an easy half day out from it. The drive down the coast road takes about half an hour, which leaves the afternoon free for the surf.
The park holds more than three hundred Nile crocodiles in wide planted enclosures, with raised walkways over the water. Five garden zones run between them, from giant water lilies to a large cactus collection, and a nursery at the back keeps the youngest animals. Entry tickets are already paid, so you walk straight past the gate.
Guests staying in the village tend to go early and be back before the wind picks up. We collect you from Taghazout or Tamraght and drop you at your door.

How the day runs
10:00 Hotel pickup
We collect you from your hotel in Agadir or Taghazout and drive out of the city.
10:30 Arrival at Crocoparc
At the gate the driver hands over your entry tickets, already paid, and you walk in.
10:40 Through the giant head
The entrance is built as a crocodile's open mouth. Most people stop here on the way through.
11:00 Feeding time
Keepers feed the Nile crocodiles on a schedule that shifts with the season. Ask at the gate what time it runs that day.
11:45 The gardens
Five planted zones with water lilies, cacti and trees from Madagascar and the Canaries.
12:15 Nursery and lab
The youngest crocodiles are kept in a nursery at the back, with a small lab alongside it.
13:00 Back to the vehicle
Meet your driver at the exit for the drive home.
13:30 Hotel drop-off
Back at your accommodation in Agadir or Taghazout.
