The experience
What to expect
A quad is the fastest way out of the city and into open country. Twenty minutes after leaving your hotel you are on dirt, with argan trees on both sides and the last of the traffic well behind you.
At the base you collect a helmet and goggles, then sit through a briefing on the controls and how to handle the corners. Nobody is expected to have done this before. The guide rides at the front and the group stays in line behind him, so the pace settles around whoever is least confident.
You are out for around 1.5 hours of actual riding, over ground that shifts from soft sand to stony climbs. Halfway along there is a stop in a village for mint tea and a plate of sweet snacks. Then back on the quads for the run home. Door to door it takes about three hours.

How your session runs
14:00 — Hotel collection
We meet you at your hotel in Agadir, Taghazout or Tamraght and drive out to the quad base.
14:20 — Briefing and gear
At the base you meet the guide, sign in, and get kitted out with a helmet and goggles.
14:30 — Out on the tracks
Engines on. The route heads off-road through argan forest, dry riverbeds and the hilly tracks below the Atlas.
15:15 — Through the villages
The trail runs past mud-brick houses and working farms, so you see how people live out here rather than just the scenery.
15:45 — The loop back
The homeward leg is the more technical half, with tighter turns and long views across the plain.
16:15 — Mint tea stop
A break for fresh mint tea and traditional sweet snacks before the last stretch.
16:30 — Transfer back
Quads handed back, then into the vehicle for the drive to your hotel.
16:50 — Back at your hotel
We drop you at your accommodation in Agadir, Taghazout or Tamraght.
